Nevik: What a cool day. I did so many great things with all my friends, I didn't want it to end. In the morning I went sledding with Alex, Ella, Matéo and Oceanne. Good start to the day. Then we had lunch at Ella's and played with her toys. Even better. Then we dropped Alex off and Koffi and Zao were playing outside. I played with them and we dug up treasures and diamonds out of the snow. Then we had cookies and hot chocolate. Best. Then Maman went shopping with matante Peggy so I got to go play inside Koffi, Zao and Loa's house. Wicked. I played with the castle. Then, after I thought that it couldn't get any better, we had dinner at Alex' house. Awesome. I was in heaven.
Skye: We did alot of running around today. The naps weren't that great. I did have fun. I got to suck a banana right out of the peel - so cool. I got to eat wild mushroom risotto which I liked very much. Oh my, you should have seen the glorious mess! Maman says that in all the excitement of the day, the camera battery was dead so they are no pics to document this wonderful day.
Nevik: We went bowling with all the mononcles and matantes Poulain. That's Papa's aunts and uncles. I had a great time. I got 2 strikes! Then we went to Sylvie's for Vietnamese. Yum.
Skye: Bowling was lame. I would have much rather napped. I did get lots of attention, mainly because I am cute.
Nevik: School again! With Zoothérapie! Dominique brought a dog with her and we played with it and walked it around the school. We didn't go outside with it because it was too nasty. After school Mononcjoel came over to play. We did face painting - I painted Joel's face like a green space monster. For dinner I made lasagna with Maman - Yum!
Skye: I fell asleep on the way to Nevi's school today, and when I woke up we were walking around Mile End, so I had a nice nap in the carrier. I, too got to play with Joel but I was way more interested in Beans the dog. I liked him so much that I shared half my bagel with him. I had a big nap this afternoon and ate a whole bunch of lasagna for dinner - by-my-self, of course.
Nevik: We trekked to the Biodome today with a whole gang of friends - Alex and Thalia, Florien and Nicolas, Skye and myself and the Mamans. Whew. First the bus, then the métro, then walking, then back to the métro and the bus and then the car home. We had lots of fun running around the Biodome looking at the animals (as much as we could at that speed), finding ourselves on the map (Nevi), sliding down the slide (everyone), jumping with the Penguins (Alex), watching the crocs (Florien) and all kinds of other things. We got to eat lunch in the restaurant there, too. I ran around with Alex and Florien and had a great time.
Skye: I got put in a stroller today - ok, I guess. I mean, it's kind of cool to be able to see my Maman instead of just being strapped to her. I ate some of Alex' rice for lunch. I like the Biodome because there is lots to see, but the Penguins swim too fast for me to follow.
Nevik: We had school today. I missed it a lot. I played with my friends and even made some new ones. This is my teacher Joséanne. I like her. We learned about the seasons and the weather. After school Maman and I made lasagne, just like Garfield in the movie. Except Garfield didn't put spinach in his lasagne.
Skye: I woke up at 6 am as usual, and got up with Papa. He drank his coffee and played with me. Then I got to eat some corn and kamut puffs. I think they are the best food ever invented. I love them. I can eat and eat and eat them. After, I had a little nap in the morning, some lunch and an even smaller nap in the afternoon. I liked going to Petit Pas vers l'École to pick up Nevi - there are so many things to see and play with. Next week I will do an activity at the Maisonette - baby massage. It will be fun!
Nevik: Gymnastics again! Yeah! I love gymnastics. I went a little crazy today because I was so happy, how I missed that fast track. After gym, we go to the bleachers at the pool and eat our snack. There we can watch the divers practice. I like it when they dive off the super tall platform. Grandmaman came over today and we went to the Biodome - it was great! The man at the entrance gave me a map and boy oh boy did I follow where we were on that map. I am going to bring it back the next time.
Skye: I like gym because I get to crawl around on the really springy floors. nifty. The Biodome was cool too - lots and lots of stuff to see. The animals were moving around quite a bit and Maman said something about how we squirm around when we are waiting for our feeding time. For supper I had sweet potato, pasta and blueberries. Blueberries are the funnest things on the planet - you can eat and wear them!
